This 61-page calendar lesson activity pack centers around a rhyme written in 1834 by Sarah Coleridge. There is a rhyme for each month to help children better understand the months and seasons.
For example:
January brings the snow,
Makes our feet and fingers glow.
There are 12 blank calendars to help your children practice filling out the dates. Younger children can help parents count and watch them write the numbers. Older children can fill it out themselves. There are three levels of copy work that go along with each month. Younger children can trace and write the name of the month and older children can practice writing the rhyme of the month.
There is also a poem and a few pages to practice days of the week.
These are great to use during the first week of each new month!
Best for ages 4-10.
